Celebrate the New Year with Chef Emery
Join Chef Emery Chapman for a night out at FARMS Community Kitchen. Start off the New Year by learning how to cook easy, healthy and delicious recipes. Chef Emery will get you excited about cooking and bring new meaning to the idea that we can eat well without feeling deprived. Her menu includes chicken red curry over jasmine steamed rice, local organic salad finished with a lemon ginger vinaigrette, roasted curried carrots with cilantro, and a tasting of chocolates for dessert. The class will be a combination of hands-on participation and demonstration. We will end the class with a communal meal and a glass of wine.
This class will be held on Saturday, January 7 from 6:00-8:00 at the FARMS Community Kitchen. The fee for the class is $25.00 per person or $45.00 per couple. All proceeds will benefit FARMS’s educational programming for kids.
Chef Emery is a professional organic chef, educator of sustainable cooking, and advocate for health and wellness. She is the chef/owner of the Harborage Inn on the Oceanfront in Boothbay Harbor. Copies of her book, The Heartfelt Cookbook, will be available for sale.
