Introduction to Sourdough Bread

This class is popular!  We’re on round three!


Join us to make a tasty, nutritious loaf of bread.  You will learn how to care for a sourdough starter, how to knead using two different techniques, and how to mix, shape and slice bread for baking.  Bill will demonstrate two ways to do the bake, using a cloche and steaming the oven. You will get to take home some sourdough culture (with a long history), and prepare a loaf to bake at home.


When: Saturday, June 3rd,  9:00-1:00 (still a few openings) 


Cost: $10.00 (free for SNAP recipients)
